You need to yell the name a few times. The name needs to roll off your tounge. Hey face it we spend a lot of time yelling at dogs! I wanted to name them cuss words but my wife would not let me. I mean like shit, ok think about nameing him shit. first of all nothing rolls off the tounge better than a cuss. And it just flows for instence: "goood shit goood," or "come here you little shit." Damnit works real well to: "come here damnit"

i got a dog named nitro, a blutick named striker, a bluetick named howie, a plott named jethro, a plott named nickle, a plott named chance, and just bought two bluetick brothers and named them jake and elwood, after the blues brothers.
