This is Belle, my Sawmill Run Trigg, pic taken last winter she was about 10 months old.
I was fixing to say that dog looked like one of mine. I'd have known her to be a Sawmill Run for sure. She is dang sure a looker.

Thanks, I like her pretty good. This is my pup from a while back, she is growing into a little dog now. Seems like she is going to be a little grittier.

How do you go about looking up pedigrees on these dogs?

Andy, you have 2 options, ask Mr Boggs for a handwritten pedigree on your dogs, which I bet he would do, or The Chase magazine carries the stud book and registration for pretty much all registered running dogs. You need a litter enrollment # and about $20 (give or take) and u can register her and receive a printed official 5 generation pedigree on your dog

Mr. Boggs has already provided the handwritten five generation pedigrees on my dogs. I was just trying to figure out if there was a way to go back beyond that, through chase or something. No real reason for it, I just think it is neat to trace them back. I know it won't make them run any better, though.

Andy you can get information from the chase, not sure the cost, but u could get copies of the pedigrees of all 8 dogs in the 3rd generation and that would give u 2 more generation back in the papers, would think 7th generation alone has 256 dogs in it, you also probably could go visit Mr Boggs and spend some time with him, surely he has the pedigree on some of these 3rd and 4th generations bet he could tell you some. But your right it doesn't make them run better, and knowing the names of dogs that appear 1 time in a pedigree in 1982 has no real impact on how much you like a dog, if it's worth breeding, or its genetic make up

Man that white chested red trigg you got in that pic there Andy is absolutely stunning. I love the way she looks. Nice looking dog. I had one once that kinda looked like her. I didn't get a chance to keep her very long before I had to move and sell out. If I ever get the chance to run dog again I'm going to start with dogs like your belle dog.

Tanner, Belle and your Carley are related to each other. Neither would exist without Cecil Boggs.
I have a male here with some of that blood that looks exactly like the Belle dog. It looks like a picture of him actually.
I never would have guessed that Belle was a female by glancing at the photo. I bet she has a huge voice as well.

Manthat's neat that I had so much history in my kennel for a moment. That Boggs fella must of been a heck of a hounds man. I hear his name being brought up time after time.
You know when I first got Carley and she was a pup I though she had the shoulders and chest of a male. I had to look twice make sure she was a female. Great looking dog.

Dan he is a good looking dog, very stout and strong, just not tall as I like my males, much longer than tall
