I heard word the HSUS is being shut down the first of the year. Does anyone know if that's true?

Does the CHC have any kind of response. There used to be a whole lot of people involved heavily with the CHC that used to chime in and keep people informed and now i have not seen anything from any of them lately. Coyotes fox racoon rabbits and squirles are all fair game next year. Shit you can even use one dog to chase deer. They got a ridiculous law passed but it is not going to keep me from hunting with my hounds one bit.

I was wondering the same thing I even called to see if they knew that it had passed. I guess it back to pig hunting. And it just so happens I was able to see one last evening that went #237.

I also heard a rumor that the big wigs from fish and game went in behing closed doors to talk to the jackass govenor yesterday about 1221. Anyone know if that is true or rumor at all. A lot needs to change with this state but it probably never will.

Make sure every one you know votes no on prop. 30 they don't need another tax red cent from use the politicians create debt in ca by passing these laws so when we get a chance to screw them like prop 30 we need to do it.I know some say that they will get around the voter by hook or crook but it will add fuel to the fire when we as the working men and women of ca go to take are state back. There's two things we can do lay down and be defeated or stand up for what's right and hunt our dogs like they deserve until physically or by other means we cannot do so. you can end the era of hounding in ca but you cannot take it out of the hounds and houndswomen. lets stick together and keep on fighting. good hunting

Someone was saying that before Brown got the bill it had been amended to read all mammals not just bear and bobcat. Does anyone know if this is true? If so does this mean we are done with running everything here?

From what I was told it specifically outlaws bear and bobcat. Then goes on to say fish and game has the power to establish hound tags, hound handlers license and a few other things and it all will be required for anybody that wants to hunt any mammal with dogs if fish and game establishes the system.

Has anybody heard chc or coha's official response or plans on this passing of sb 1221? Are we going to bring out the big dog lawers now? What about the "SPORTSMANS' POLITICAL VICTORY FUND''? "WARCHEST"? CHC has not posted or updated anything on their site? What now,?

I understand that the amendment does not state "hunt", but to the effect of "any dog that pursues any mammal." This is so broad that it could include stockmen's herding dogs. Possibly effecting cattle and sheep growers.
