That boys gonna have to get his priorities straight !!! Lol you should be very proud. As long as he keeps that mind set, he’ll do well in life. Not many folks left that have an honest, ethical, and hard working code they live by.

Sure has been quite on the forum lately. What’s everyone’s updates?
The wife and I both got bucks here in NV. I’ve got a Nance bred bitch that’s about to put some Twist pups on the ground and I’m trying to button up my huntin rig build so I don’t beat the heck out of my daily driver rig. Also trying to get chainsaws fixed so I can finish cutting fire wood.

Busy working and getting ready for winter. Got 7 inches of snow Monday! Had a hard time not heading to the hills. Been catching a few coons to work the puppies on. 2 older pups are coming along im just behind on obedience with the 4 pups. They all decided here means run the other direction lately. Our archery season ends tomorrow and rifle starts Saturday so to the woods we go! Just can't wait for December to get the dogs out.

Good luck deer hunting! I’m almost finished with my huntin rig. Took it for a test drive today. Got a couple bugs to work out and then it’s huntin worthy. If I didn’t have to drive 80 miles each way, I would hunt anyways and fix it down the road. But my suspension upgrades are definitely worth the work so far!

My hunting truck is currently getting a new motor, and a bunch of stuff fixed. I swear I never have a season I don't at least sink 3k into it !

Dang, that sounds expensive! Are you doing the work or a shop? I save a ton of money by doing it my self. It just takes a lot longer. I have done a bunch to this truck. Replaced the suspension, new gears and lockers, new U-joints, done a bunch of electrical work and finished the engine swap that the guy I bought it from, started.

Well I wish I was mechanically inclined but I'm not, and I dislike turning wrenches so I pay a buddy that has a shop to work on my stuff.

I don’t blame you. I don’t necessarily enjoy it, I’m just too much of a cheap ass to take my trucks to a shop. I do take my saws to a shop though. I’m no good at adjusting the carbs on them.

Truck was supposed to be done last week now he says Tuesday

we shall see! Start guiding elk hunters on Monday so hopefully before then. My boys pretty excited for Saturday and Sunday to get out elk hunting! Last year was his first elk season and the spoiled little brat shot a 320+ bull his first morning ever elk hunting so I told him he has to shoot a cow this year but he disagrees.

Dang, that’s another reason why I don’t like relying on other people to fix stuff. Our time frames are different.
Good for him! Personally, I like eating cows more than bulls and there’s more cows than bulls. Good luck this season!

The old lady went out to the saw bones today. They told her she’s got my son in there! Pretty darn excited about that.

I just got back from Tennessee with the girlfriend. We brought the horses down and rode through the Smokey Mountains. Beautiful country. Now back to running hounds!!
