Large cubbys work well when the snow comes, I like a snare at each end and on the trails coming in and around the cubby

We run cages because most of the places we trap we run lions in also.

Tell me about the cages you use, the size and type of wire.

Their home made 18" x 18" x 48". We really just use what ever wire is available alot of chain-link but we try to use mainly the 1" x 1" square rabbit wire. The ones made of chain-link are way to heavy but built correctly and there's no cat gonna break out! My partners dad makes his a bit bigger ( 24" x 24" x 55" ). But the down side to that size: he caught 7 lions last year!

nvlion_hunter- Tell me about the design of your traps. What's your trip-mechanism like? I've never trapped before besides a store-bought live trap for coon. I'm very interested in trying to live trap a bobcat for my pups.. In the past I've just worked on caged coon and cat hides.. Love to show them the real thing..
