A Call to Unite

Those of you that have the Garmin Astro 220 and DC-30 collars know just how good they really are. I have been asking Garmin for nearly a year now to make some important changes to the system
Mainly to be able to enter numbers in sequence such as 5,15,25,35, etc.
As you know it can’t be done.
Also Garmin needs to address the issue of adding more communication numbers.
They need to improve the battery life of the DC-30 collars.
Garmin seems to have addressed the issue of marine and two meter radios degrading the Murs section of the G.P.S.
Garmin has used the Murs frequencies because they are free.
Garmin could purchase all the frequencies from the F.C.C. that they need.
This Call to Unite is asking ALL hounds men to call or email Garmin and ask they to make these changes and any other changes that you deem necessary.
Garmin Tech Support number: 1-800-800-1020
Garmin Tech Support e-mail address: Product.Support@garmin.com

If we all do our part, we should be able to get Garmin to make these changes.

I think most of us have done this haven't we? I know I have many times but the responce I have always received (from Garmin)is that they don't care.

Well, here is what I sent them. Hope it at least gets them thinking.

I have been following the progress of your product, pros and con's, for some time now. I see you have addressed the issue of radio burnout, but battery life, range, entering numbers in sequence, and using gmrs frequencies that interfere with the performance of the unit are not addressed. I would like to note that I have no intention of buying your product until these are addressed. It is a common complaint from a lot of houndsmen I know with your system, that you just don't care what they think. I hope this is not true, it is a fickle world we live in and the competition will certainly capitalize on your indifference. Thank you
