Just watched it and all i can say is Bad Ass. Great footage of lions and dogs, alot of bayed up lions which i love. Only complaint is they put "With John Mcclendon and Mike Whelan" on the cover and not the 2 guys who actualy caught all the lions. My favorite part was the slow motion shot of the big tom jumping through 15 dogs like they werent even there. Anyone that is planning on buying a dog from Derringer should watch it to see what kind of country and lion action his dogs grow up with on a regular basis.

Saw El Gato 2 today...good show...I've never seen that many dogs on a lion...In the first scene where they fight the big tom, good hell there must be 20+ dogs on that cat...Good movie though

sorry to rock the boat here guys but i bought it a couple weeks ago and it made me sick. Anybody who likes this video is either a rookie or has zero respect for there dogs. They didnt tie up any dogs even when they were shootin bows and it clearly showed one down/dying dog. WTF! this is a bad representation of our sport. If anyone ever treated my dogs like this they would deal with the bad end of my steel toe boots.
Did i mention most of their kills were small females and they bragged about how they are hard to catch... Dennis Ingram or Van Johnsons videos are one million times better!

I guess they could have leashed them and put the leashes under rocks. The reason for killing the females is because they were stock killers. The reason for saying they were hard to catch is because females are harder to catch any real lion hunter knows that. Finally the men that caught those lion catch more in harder conditions than anyone on the planet. For the dogs they take perfect care of them they get paid to dispatch stock killers in that country shit happens. Hopefully this ends this crap of slamming one of the best lion dvds ever made by some of the best lion hunters ever.
