Nh blues dogs havin fun.

We finaly got some work done here in Montana.. We have been hunting for 10 days with no snow and cold cold temps. But the weather changed and we treed a really big cat after walking for a few miles. The dogs treed it then bailed out and then treed again. but we did get some video and pics. None of use had a kill tag for the area were we treed it. so we had to let him go.
Then yesterday we cut a fresh track and walked it a little ways to make sure it was a shooter..Dogs ran it for a little while before it came out in the road infront of use. The cat ran just a while longer before treeing not to far off the road on a steep bank. and this is the cat.

no we didnt weight it but it was some where between 150 and 200

Bow...goood job there man. How did those Green hounds like those cats? Are you guys going to make a yearly pilgrimage like grandpa Bill used to? Congrats, blood is thicker than water...keep it up.

the dogs did a great job with the cats. one of them had seen a few bobcats and that was it but once she got a nose full of that big cat she was all for it..

Lion tracker.. yes we did stop and see dell for a lil while. and i dont knwo who john roberts is but she is one of John Henneman.

John Roberts is French Creek Valley... thought you had one of his. Not surprised the Minisink one got it done! What did Del think about the whole deal? I bet he got a big kick out of it.

We stoped before we started hunting but he was tickeled to think we were out here doing it. and it was fun to sit and talk with him.
