everyone seems to forget that wolves live and hunt in packs, they are not solitary animals like coyotes.

a lion can kill a solitary wolf its the rest of the pack it has to worry about

not trying to rain on anybody's parade, but there isn't a domestic dog that is gonna stand a chance against any of the canadian wolves that were reintroduced to the lower 48. Irish wolf hound, Dogo, pit, or bully, it's not gonna be pretty and it would be over real quick like. Weight is not the deermining factor in the equation.

This is all just speculation as no one truly knows until they try it.I think a tried and tested Dogo may be a handful for a lone wolf.A wolf is a killing machine for sure but he is not a fighting machine.A wolf has a survival instinct and that may be his weakness.A wolf has to stay healthy if he is to survive.A true fighting dog will fight to the death just for the sake of fighting.

Why would you weaken a Plott by adding Pit?

If you want a dog that will kill Wolves, not Wolf, but Wolves as in a pack of. One would have to get some Bozo Walker breeding from a guy in Colorado. From what I hear he is bringing Bozo back for the reason to chase down, bay up, and stretch Wolves. This Bozo line will kill 1000 lb. black bear, so Wolves won't be much of a challenge. Don't waste time will Wolf hounds, Elk hounds, or pits. Just one good ole Bozo dog will get the job done.

Oh, don't worry if the Wolves swim Lake Michigan to get to safety. Your new and improved Bozo Walker can walk on water as well!

Not sure where the wolf thing came from. We don't have any here but great choice of dogs, I will agree. Don't let that greened eye monster eat you up

Wolves are probably one of the nastiest animals you will run into .. A single wolf isnt much of a threat to a pack of dogs , BUT a pack of wolves can pretty much ruin your hunting ..
As for crossing pits into plotts , I dont think you could breed them fast enough to keep you hunting ... jmo.
