I'm just getting started cat hunting in MI and looking for anyone willing to lend advice or let me tag along. I have 2 young redticks that have yet to see a cat track. I have been hunting the nlp, or at least looking for tracks.

I have a cabin S.E. of Gaylord and have seen cats around there in the past. This year since I got into hounds I haven't found a track after Dec.25th when I found one in my driveway. I hunted in the piogen river area 2-19, and 2-20 and found some old tracks, w/no new snow and warm temps during the day it was a slow go. Saterday I let my hounds out for a break at 2 o'clock before headind back down state and they stuck a track and ran it out for 3 miles on the garmin. I should have free casted them earlier. I cut them off on the next road since I had to be home today to cut wood on a farm I hunt down here. Good run for the pups, no game but good confidence builder for them and my self. Thanks farmer12
