Well I finaly figured out how to get on this forum. My name is Joe Troyer and Iam hooked on hounds and have been for many years. I hunt bears, lions, bobcats, and coon if Iam ever near water (which doesnt happen very often). Im looking for some folks around this part of the country to start coon hunting with. I live in Pie Town N.M. and with all these deer and elk hunts going on I havent been able to do any hunting for almost a month. Realy kind of going through with draws right about now and could realy go for a fix of good hound hunting.

All my dogs are mix bred dogs some have plott, english, walker, blueticks, and red bones. It is realy just a melting pott around here what ever ones work best for the jobs they have to do. I would like to have a registered dog so i could play at these coon huntin events. But I havent realy found any events to go to yet. What do you run?

The lion hunting around here can be pretty slow but there are alot of bobcats. And alot of the country is perfct for catchung those little bugers. Big boulders but not to rough where they can get away very easy. Anytime you want to come down and hunt Ken just let me know.
Must be nice to have a spring bear season. ours closed down along time ago. Sure would be interested in gettin some info on some spring bear hunting.
