Went to meet Steve and the hounds of Salt Lick Kennels today. Folks let me tell you the photos of these dogs does them no justice, these hounds are absolutely huge! beautiful and intelligent to boot. Steve is a hellava nice guy and has done an awsome job with his hounds and the breed. OUTSTANDING Steve! look forward to talking more with you.

Kevin, I couldn't of said it better myself !!! I agree.....
Spend a day there bonding with them hounds, and it's hard to go back home....
I have a ton of respect for what Steve's got going on over there....

The Pups were jumpin the 4' fence and would make a Short Hunt then Check back in !!

Theirs a Fine line here between Complete Kaos and the easy going times !! lol

I have been to Steve's place a ton of times. I get amped up coming down the drive just to see the pack come rolling down the lane. Every now and then I try to sneak one on the back of my truck! Hah!

I got two of his early bred hounds and they are rock solid part of the family.

Steve is a stand-up guy who will shoot you straight.

A fine man with fine hounds.....
