I have been listening to all these stories on these siteings of black Mt. Lions back east and yet no one has got any pics or proof of there exsistence. I find that a little odd since there is 100 times the lion population over here and yet to my knowledge there has never been a black Mt. Lion treed over here. Just wanted to get your guys thoughts on the whole deal. I personally think that they are just jaguars or leopards of the black form that got let from some so called zoo.

Well, Boozer, I think that black mt. lions in the east other than Fla. are a figment of someone's imagination. Could be a result of crack use or something like that. I think that a good portion of the regular mt. lion sightings are a result of the same intoxicants around here.
