Are you still having garmin problems

I haven’t heard as much about loss of range and fried units lately. I sent mine back again and it works great now the best range I have gotten to date. I can now track out to 2-2.5 miles with the long range antenna and even got a 3.7 for a moment.
I will not be around the Motorola radios until about September when the other hunters come into my area so I won’t be able to tell if it is immune to the high wattage output until then.
My buddy has been sending his back about every 3-4 months with problems he uses a radio in the 151 frequency at 25 watts. They told him the warranty on a repaired unit is now 6 months. If it takes you over six months to fry it then it will be on your dime.
Is anyone else still having the frying problem or do the new boards seem to be working.
