First off we just had a litter of pups and one came out a silver color i was wondering if that is what you would call a maltese plott. And if so if we got it to run bear real good would it be worth more money if we were to sell it because of that. Just was wondering we probably wont ever sell it but i was just sitting here wondering that. Thanks

yes that is a maltese. yes some ppl will pay big amounts for one and some consider it an inferior trait. so pretty much i agree. at one point i owned half of one and the other owner wouldn't bear hunt the dog due to color so he got my half too considering if it won't run a bear i don't need it. they were heavy heavy weems

Sorry for the delayed response. The line was a lot of Weems in the mom, the pup ended up changing color to a lighter brown with brindle. We took them to the vets to gets shots a while after they were born and the vet said that she would more than likely change back to the lighter silver color as she got older. The only change so far is that she has a light silver behind her ears.
