IS COON AND BOBCAT SCENT ABOUT THE SAME TO A HOUND

It's just a guess, but I am gonna say, no they dont smell at all the same to a hound. ONe reason for my guess is that they dont smell at all the same to me either.

take it for what you will. this was my first year and the guy i hunted with only hunts bobcats and his dogs are straight. we got around 15 when i was with him and he ended up with i think 49 for the year. his dogs never struck on a coon. i can only think of 2 chases were a pup took off on a deer and one of them was on the way back to the truck after getting a cat. so i would say no they are not the same to a hound
