Does anyone know of a Good Weather reporting website that always puts the estimated snow level??.

Seams that they only put the snow level around here when it drops low.. I'd really like to see what it is all the time... even if it's 14,000 feet at least I'll know to bring my rain gear!..

Unless the Snow level affects the the yuppie's we don't normally get that information consistantly..

I would like to see this in the 10day forcast so I could plan to either go driving across the state, or if it's a waste of time I could save my Vacation time and the fuel and waste my time hunting local

Buddy here is a link to a real cool site. It's part of NOAA and it doesn't forecast as far as 10 days but it does give you a lot of information on the snow in your area. I find that if you read the forecast discussions from the noaa site and especially your local national weather service website you can get a better idea of what is going on weather wise. The only problem is that forecast much farther than 3-5 days become very inaccurate. The forecast discussion explain a lot more about what the different models are showing. Anywho here are the links I hope they help.

i like the snow info on that site

Unless the Snow level affects the the yuppie's we don't normally get that information consistantly..

exactly-- so use the yuppies --lol

sometimes i can check cross country ski areas where im planning to hunt---

might tell me if its frozen crust or new powder

the best deal is ,,
some places not too far from where i hunt ,snowmobile club has live web cam-- i can see if its snowing - or better yet --it snowed and now it stopped --

:)

lucky for me

I just look out my window. The state of NY does give driving conditions to the local ski mountains and they all have web cams at the peaks, which helps me decide how icy conditions are.
