My First Bull Elk

Here is a pic of my late season bull i shot on the san juan this year.. i was sitting in the trees on the syline inbetween the 4th and 5th point on his right side.. I killed him with my 300WSM and 180 partitions

you mentioned the san juans i am guessing in southern colorado? is that correct if so near what town i know that country well!

There isn't any like that in Colorado any more. So I'm sure it was the San Juans in Utah.

Ya your prob right but I was curious.. i know there are more elk in co than ever but the big bull gene is very limited. Thats why I asked.. I hope bulls like that are showing up in co

Ken this bull came of the san juan in southeastern utah..
