Man those are some tight tight patterns. I dont think I could do it without a sandbag, 20x reading glasses and a telescope. I hope some more guys post patterns...

But Cat Rifle? What kind of cats you guys got out there? Show me an off hand pattern with an iron sighted single shot .22 loaded with various shells from the gas station mixed with pocket lint. Now that is a cat gun.

Yeah i have one of those two, But when i cant chase dogs my foxpro is my best friend. I do alot of calling, not much killing. I could never seem to hit those darn coyotes and bobcats so i bought this rifle in january and told my self i would be able to kill everything i shot at if i took the time to practice. dont know if it will be true but am sure going thru the ammo at the range, and shooting 3 inch groups at five hundred yards with it. so this year i cant blame it on the gun. :agmnt :beer

Why shoot a cat or fox? Why not just shoot a beer can?

beer cans work great when you paint them rainbow color and put dread locks on them. and i cant shoot groups like that all day long. at .00002 yds away no problem :beer

Ain't really my cat gun but I have to brag. I took my old 1892 Winchester in a 25-20 caliber out a couple days ago and shot a group of 3 that were all touching at 50 yards. Not bad for a 100 year old gun with iron sights.

My cat gun is more along the line of David and Twist.....though I treat all my bullets first.......I let 'em all roll around on the dash board for 6 months and get a good layer of crud built up on them before I stick 'em in my pocket.

Well my cat guns are guns I pack with me not one of my varmint rifles I use when calling and such. I have some of the bench rifles I have built that will shoot 10 shot grouts. 323" without restin the barrel, but you wouldn't want to pack them cat hunting.
Now then Kevin D. My model 92's are reproductions although we have 25.20's and 32.20's. Mine are 357 Magnum and will shoot with my reloads wel enough to take the head off a cottontail every shot if you can shoot at 50 yards and they are pure poisen on lions, they seldom kick more than twice. certainly some fun guns and very useable for the dog man. Bear? No problemo 158 gr. thru the wind room and boom they hit the pine needles!

I love accurate rifles but it is all about realtivity. Sort of like the weather. Wink!

Well i know that this isnt much of a bob gun but its hell on yotes i shoot a 700 Rem Mountian rifle Elaminated stock with a stainless barel I have a 3-9 Nikon Monarch Punchin a 130 BC >488 Grain Nosler Accubond around 3100fps I use Rl 19 with 50 grns it eats up the brass i get around three shots and the neck is shot. I can keep em within a quarter size but two to three shots and i have to let it sit. Its about best gun i have owned. I did just have a Sako pre 64 Fitted with a Lilja Sporter barrel Its a 300 Win Mag i have a load worked up for it 200 grain Accubond and its pushing 3100 on the cronie A guy that makes the montaina mountian rifels built it for me. Its a hole for hole gun Im saving my money to put a Zise Conquest 3.5-14 800 yard z redicals on it. I took a few hunter out this past year and they slamed a huge buck in Montana at 650 with out a problem set up similar to what i want, the guy could shoot a four inch group at 700 yards. This year i killed a nice bull at 550 and the toughest part was waiting for the wind its almost un fair but it well worth the money and time shooting, when all you have to have is the weather and a 700-800 yard shot.
