I am looking for some opinions on nabek bred plotts. I have heard a bit about them for the last few years but havent hunted with one and was wondering if some of you that have them or hunted with them can tell me a bit about them? All I have been hearing for the last few years is that they were pretty gritty dogs. How do they do in the thick brush bayed up with a bad bear? How fast are they typically, conformation, what type of nose, how are they around other dogs, brains ect. Thanks DJ

Your best bet is to give Larry a call himself. You won't be able to get a hold of him for a couple more weeks but he always loves talking dogs and bear hunting.
If you want to know some information and what some others think about the line there are a few guys on the Smithdeal site that hunt the Nabek dogs.
Or give me a call and I might be able to answer some questions for you.

Good line of bear dogs. They are gritty and need to grab a bear. The owner/breeder is upfront and honest!
