Anyone seen el gato part two?

I just bought part two of el gato the lion movie at cabellas. I was pretty impressed with their footage. nice movie, got me all fired up and motivated. I went out the next day and dry grounded one in the so. utah desert. It was a female, I didn't take my camera out of the truck because I thought I was just hiking over to the edge to call the dogs back. they had lined it out pretty good, but they ran past the canyon it was in. The only reason I caught her is my 8 month old dora pup squeezed her way out of the box. she could hear the other dogs barking and was on a b line straight to them. all at once she turned and went crazy down the thickest nastiest canyon I've been in all year. other dogs went over to investigsate and started treeing!!! Took me the rest of the day to drag the dogs back to the truck. that's the bad part about going alone. alot of satisfaction in catching them on 100 pecent dirt. I'll take luck over skill any day.

Good job there and yes luck is the best. But time and miles are recipe day in day out.

this is a very good DVD by some honest hard working lion hunters. It took many years and many hunts to pull this together so don't get the idea that every hunt turns out this way because there are many more days of cussing and throwing down your hat. but when you do put it together and get on caught it sure is sweet.l Stay after em!

Log on to a search engine and look up

NORTHSTAR PRODUCTIONS HUNTING

Then you got it. El Gato one is ok but mostly track hunting and jump em out on a track the hunters have found. Two is a little more traditional. Traditional offends some liberals however. LOL!

Like the old man told me: Son it's all good but some is just a little bit better than others. LOL!

The commentary on the el gato dvds is brutal IMO and footage is repetitive.
I ordered them both and wish I hadn't bought them.

Dam blacktail stalker, if you don't like that footage, you better go back to huntin blacktails and give up the hounds. I didn't like part one that much, but part two was exellent! I have been runnin hounds for a long tome and only on a hand full of my adventures have I ever been able to capture footage that good . have you ever hunted dry ground? if not then I understand your having no appreciation for that footage.

I give credit where its due and I give them credit for putting a dvd together in a sport where there arent a lot, yes. I agree 2 was better than 1...
That being said biggerstaffs dvd is much better than both... but we all have opinions and this is mine on both.
I sure dont take anyone elses opinions personal so I hope you dont either.

+1 Biggerstaff's video is worth watching, gato's were pretty boring. And yes I have run and do run on dry ground  Not sure what that has to do with watching a video :?

blacktailstalker what is the name of this biggerstaffs movie I'll give it a watch? paco, if you have ran dry ground then you gain an appreciation for any lion footage that is put together on the dirt. Especially no shaking steady footage, lots of footage of the dog power and some nice cats ledged up. maybe you should put together a dry ground video with all your footage and show them gato boys how it's done. That being said, I have a question. are you getting out of the dogs? if so why? maybe it was a different paco they were talkin about.

I have no desire to make a movie. Never said I could show them how to make a movie.I said the Biggerstaff movie was alot better and if you would watch it I think you will agree. So untill you watch it maybe you should stop trying to fight with those of us who have
I am not getting out of the hounds. If I got rid of my hounds I would be without a job. My dogs are how I make my living.

I just saw a post that said paco was selling out. I guess there is a bunch of pacos on here. my bad. You did say in your post, something about repetitive, boring footage ? Thats the only reason I called you out to show us some better footage. I can't wait to see the biggerstaff movie, sounds like a dandy. thanks for turning me on to it.
