Must have been out in the wenaha from the looks of it. Possibly some wolf scat from the pack they have out there. Looks like the Imnaha pack finally caused a little ruckus by killing that cow. hopefully that is the end to them. been seeing any bears out there? I saw a real nice black bear today in the starkey unit no tag tough. How did your bluetick end up doing this winter?

You nailed it. We were hunting the breaks of the Wenaha River. We glassed several of the draws going down into the river but didnt see one single bear. We did see a few big horn sheep though, But they were on the other side of the canyon. Too far for our current camera lol. We have been hunting the southern portion of the Wenaha as well but with no luck. Man I'm starting to think I'm cursed for bears in that unit this year. I have seen two in the Mt. Emily unit though.

The bluetick is doing real good, showing a lot of progress. She just wants and needs more game, but i think she will finish out to a real nice hound.

As for the scat, Im about possitive it was wolf. We found a few fresh piles of bear scat and they were of course full of grass. That one though was chuck full of deer hair. I don't really know how to describe it though but it smelt way different as well.
