Distemper.

I baught a young female dog a few months ago and I already had another female dog. When i got this new young dog she was just sacking up from a miscarrige. And my older dog took to her very good. They did great together for about 2 and a half months then all of a sudden the new young dog just snapped and they got into a pretty good fight. Then they were good again for about 3 to 4 weeks. And the new dog came right back into heat. Is that normal? Well before she came out of heat she got into it again with my older dog really bad so i had the younger dog put down because she was just getting too agressive with other animals? I was told by a buddy that he thinks it came from a disease called Distemper and when I looked it up, its possible but she didn't have the symptoms that it talked about like the runs and nerve problems and seisures. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Jim.
