willing to hold a lion race have the land and time to do it just not sure how thay run them, would like to have it in aug some time before lion season opens. i live in north east wyo by newcaste, if any one knows how thay run and score them let me know, or if there is even any one that would like to atend one let me know.

Okay explain to me what a lion race is and if you are using a real lion how do you think you can do that in Aug before season opens? That would be illegal. I have been lion hunting in Wyoming a long time and I have never heard of such a thing. Where are you in Wyoming? I am in Ten Sleep

drag a lion hide a mile up a cliff see whose pup gets there first i guess.
however it would probably be more useful to lay difficult training drags and use it more as a training aid with accuracy and length of elapsed time "old drag" being more of a goal then speed. might be a way to get some help laying drags

lol was thinking more along the lines as pegleg , putting down 2 to 3 mile scent trails, but now u have me thinking do thay use a live bear in them bear races lol , trying to figer a way to score the dogs cuz u got to have a winner.
