Where is the best lion hunting on public land?

Where is the best place to lion hunt on public land? Don't matter the state just as long as tags are easy to get. Any suggestions?

BC hands down. Although not in the states.

an invitation is all you need to hunt here in alberta, where the best lion hunting just happens to be.

From what I hear he is really Canadian. He's probaly going to head back there after he gets finished running the US into the ground.

The problem is you said you wanted to hunt lions, if you had said you wanted to pursue lions, you would have had a lot more people responding to your question. The truth is that almost all the western states have a lot of public land, in Colorado, Arizona, Nevada and Utah, you can buy tags over the counter. You would have to do some research on the units that you can hunt. In Utah they have draw units, split units and harvest objective units. They have a seven day wait period in Utah if you buy your tag after the season starts. If you want to draw a tag in one of the draw units or split unit you have to apply now. I've never hunted outta AZ and NM and for my efforts I like Arizona hunting.
Only because I feel the Arizona has a better lion seasons. New Mexico has some great bear and lion hunting as well.

I'll guide you on 100 percent private land in the Big Horns or Medicine Bow. 
As far as public land goes, unless there is a lot of it it can get tough. National forests are your best bet.
