Any one have one? Are there companies to avoid or is one better than the other?

I've rented the Iridium and now own one from Globalstar.. The Iridium was nice and worked all the time but the service is expensive. The Globalstar only works at certain times of the day for different lengths of time but it works for what I need it for. You can get voice messages so if something important happens you can get the message..
