kings, Rain gear light weight and totally water proof, fairly cheap to, around 120 bucks for the jacket and pants. Schnees are the only way to go for boots.

I just picked up a pair of Marmot Precip pants, they're real light, pack small and were WAY tougher than i thought on a recent goat hunt, kept me very dry in pissing rain and 4' of buckbrush for many hours and they didnt rip. I recommend them.

I use a Sitka Stormfront goretex jacket but that was pricey, over $500.

i always liked the military surplus gear rain gear. there cheap and tuff but i half to admit the oldstyle military camo is not top looking in my eyes but i am yet to catch the hounds laughing. i usually put on the light poly pro cold weather pants and shirt on for clothes and just wear the wet gear. it works perfect cause your not as bundled up. in colder weather i switch to the heavy poly gear and worst case i wear the lights poly under the heavys and am good at the worst of conditions

The best way I have found to stay warm and dry lion hunting is to hunt dry ground in about may
