After cold trailing two sets of older tracks on a Friday, we hit a different area early Saturday morning. Cut this track at day break and let two dogs go. After one of the dogs kept getting hung up on the ledges we pulled him back and let the other keep going. Took us four hours to finally get to where this cat was treed. When we got there the cameras came out and we started taking pics. During the middle of the photo session, the cat decided he wanted to go for another exercise session and jumped the tree and the chase was on again. This cat took three dogs ( the one that had it treed and two we walked in) on a wild chase crossing its tracks about 4 times. Finally the plott dog lined out the track and ledged him up 45 minutes later. Needless to say, we didnt give him a second chance to think about jumping.
