Nothing has changed about our hound hunting laws. Everything that is being talked about has to do with the cougar plan.

Nora are they still talking about hiring more government trappers with taxpayers money instead of creating revenue through license sales

Heck, they will pay the goverment trappers with License sales from hunters along with taxpayers dollars.

ODF&W does not need to pay or hire Government agents now with tax money. They are now taking applications for volunteer Hounders to do the job. I hope in the future that we as hound hunters will be able to see cougars and bears in a tree with our dogs. I think it is far off but there are a group of good die hards that will keep fighting till we see that day or a cougar walks into town and severely injures or kills a child. All we can do is keep fighting the fight.



Please Note:
I do not want this post to be taken off on what each of you think about volunteers or government agents. I think we are beyond that point and I’m tired of all the BS that threads like turn out to be. Fighting among us is what got this board shut down twice now.
