Are the bears still out in Utah?
Wondering if anyone has saw tracks, sign or a bear lately here in Utah?

Seems like every year on the late rifle elk hunt we cut a few bear tracks in the shady snow patches. don't know if that means anything, but I think they're still out for a few more weeks or till the snow piles up. how late do you guys usually catch em?

I saw a big chocolate bear yesterday at around 10K-10.5k elevation here in southern colo. Jay

I have not chased bear this late before. With the good weather thought i might give it a shot. That is if they are still out.

Still a few out in Utah, go get after it!! Depending on what area you are hunting will depend on your chances at success, but there are definitely still some out and about.

might try areas where you would expect alot of gut piles to be left over from deer and elk season....!!!
