My buddy and I have a little wager on the % of each pup's breed from the following cross.
Sire 1/2 Redbone & 1/2 Plott.
Dam 3/4 Walker & 1/4 Redbone.
What would the pup's % of each breed be?
My guess is 3/8 Redbone- 3/8 Walker- 1/4 Plott.
His was 1/2 redbone 3/8 Walker 1/8 Plott.
Who's right or are we both wrong

A mutt for sure maybe i'll take that pup and cross it with a Black and Tan- Bluetick-Redtick cross then we will have all the bases covered!

then you can call them the kitchen sink bloodline!

They all had to come from somewhere right?

I saw 3/8 red, 3/8 walker, and 1/4 plott. You could call them rottalkers!

u both could b wrong it does not work exactly like that lets say u dad is irish red hair freckles n tall u mom is blonde n short german u come out tall n red hair u sister comes out short n blonde the way genes work it always is not 50 percent 50 percent u could be 5/8th irish and 3/8ths german and u sister opposite also after the next cross some of the genes are stronger again and wont carry over exactly
so from the begining things are off if you wannt to settle it do a dna test it would be interestin to see what that says
the good thing if nyou can get them to bark at a tree there worth 5 grand as a started big game hound

Thats funny, the best part is, you can hunt with anyone, and not be in competition with their breed, as you dogs will have a little in them

are willing to help with our Science project of course with such high demand
