I live in south Alabama. I have a half walker/july Crogan 16 mo. old.
I have a 3/4 july/walker 18 mo. old. I have 2 walkers 12 mo. old. I have 2 walkers 10 mo. old. Now here is the problem.
When I turn them in on a pack of howling coyotes, they get whipped an run out of the woods. The coyotes will come to within 30 ft. of the truck. These dogs will run the fire out of coyotes in a pen, but can't run on the outside. What would you do to help these dogs be able to run on the outside? T.I.A.

Son it's sorta liek real life and the movies. Them ole hound dawgs is a bit smarter than most folks give credit to and them old brush wolves will nip their nuts off in the wild and just like you and me at the dance over there in that other town we are most liable to set a few out.

In the pen at at our own party we dance , prance and romace pretty good though don't we? LOL!

they are all young dogs , lack of confidence. i bet over half of them are just tagging along. they just need fur in there mouth and there shouldnt be a problem.

dont feel bad my buddys running dogs that are 3 to 7 years of age were running in to the same problem . you need to find one that wont backdown to run with them .it destroys there confidence when they get run out of the woods .one dog can be the glue to hold the whole pack together. your onlly other option is to cull the cowards.jmo

Find a 90 pound bluetick to add to your pack.
