Re: Almost here!
I've been trying to elk hunt a little but it's been hard walking and riding around looking at the ground checking for cat tracks
I used to live and breathe big game hunting and the last couple years it's just passing the time till cat season. This year has been the worst. I'm soo ready to hear the dogs open for the first run of the season. I've enjoyed chasing coons this last summer and fall and the dogs did well but I need a longer chase and a bigger critter in the tree!

more snow, this is realy getting the blood going, cant stand it. I will go out for elk one last time in the morning, then its time to just focus on getting the dog ready for cat season. have been running the road with her, and she seems to be in great shape. it helps that she is young. Cant get here fast enough.
