Rumor has it this one found run over in the road. The game warden had to finish it off and was charged by the beast before he could finish the job. Just thought I would share these. What a monster!!

I turned out on a pig like that on new years day and had him treed within a half an hour but every time we got close he jumped and after the fifth or sixth time it was gettin dark so I tried to call the dogs off but I guess they could not hear me (yeah right) so I did not get them back till the next day. I wish that I had all my dogs on him and maybe he would have stayed put. Hind sight is 20 20

about ten years back a lion was hit not too far from my house. It was so impressive i just had to weigh it... it was a female that weighed in at 153 lbs. A few old timers (one trapper and one houndsmen) that i hunt with said they never herd of a female that big...
Whats the biggest female you guys have weighed

A year or two ago i ran into hal mecham down here in (our country) and we got to talking hunting and dogs and he heard about a dog i had and he had to see if it held a candle to his "ruby" dog if i remember right. He said he had cut a tom track in a wash that he thought was a couple days old and he wanted us to go down there with him. We loaded up and when we got there my two good dogs could move the track but his dog couldnt smell it at all. His attitude changed alot after that. He also claimed to be rigging bobcats on the same trip. Im not saying az dogs are better than ut dogs but i think it is overall harder trailing down here. Tell your friend he will have fun with javalina and 24 dogs that dont know what pigs are. Alot of good hunting around there he should have fun. This is not meant to trash hal mecham at all as i dont know the guy at all just making a point since his name was brought up to support your thoughts on trailing conditions here.
