You have just killed a nice whatever... lets say bobcat. If you want to keep rigging your dogs, does the scent from the dead cat in your truck effect the dogs on the box ability to rig a second cat off the mountain? Thought I'd through this one out there. I've wondered about this before with scent from drags etc. being in the rig with dogs. What is your opinion on this?

Not in my experience. The biggest prob I had was keeping the dogs from trying to get to the dead animal.

Yeah, I have that problem too. Just wondering if it distracts them from finding another scent. I know a dog can smell the difference between individual animals, but wanted to hear what others have to say.

I dont beleive it it does we use our dogs to wind scent hogs in various different country. and even with 4 or 5 dead or even live hogs on the truck they are still able to pic up new scents and catch more hogs.
