07/08 Lion Pic.

Just put some more pics up of some lions we got this year in Idaho on my web site. Have not been able to hit it as hard as I did Bear but still going up and doing ok. Me and my brother-in-law Marty went out a few weeks back and turned loose on a small track. the dogs did great and we had the cat treed in about 2 hr. It of course took us about 30 min to get to the tree down hill and about 2 hr to get back to the snowmobiles. It was about a 100 lb female that looked to be in rough shape. My Larry dog thought it would be a good idea to get up in the tree for a better look. Well to make a long story short Larry got some battle scars and we of course forgot the cameras on the trip for proof. I guess you will have to take my word for it. All in all we made some more good memories and had a great time. That morning on our way up the mountain we had a bobcat walk right out in front of the truck and I put my Abbie dog down on the track and guess what she decided that she really didn't feel like catching little cats and so out came Larry and once again didn't feel it. so I guess when we cut this female track they had a little redemption! but I put up a few pics of some more cats that me and Marty and Scott have been putting up this year.
