somebody tell me what you use to anchor a large heavy bear rug to the wall???? rings or bar or what ??? she wants to use 1 corner and part of 2 walls kinda out of the way should look good but i dont want it to keep coming down either THANKS PIX PLEASE would help

Have had the same problem so i had rings sewn in the edges of the felt and did not like that, it bunched up and looked bad, So i tried to put eye lit in felt and that sucked worse. I am going to built a wood frame of crown moulding I can stain to the color I want around the felt edge and line it with commercial velcro on the bottom half and it should hold flat and good the crown molding will give it a good look and hide the velcro and secure to the wall at any angle I want.

Thumb tacks work good mines been hanging for years. there should be 2 layers of felt you can stick the thunb tacks on the first layer so the 2nd layer covers the tacks, put them every 5-6" apart. hopes this helps

get some apolstry tacks at the hardware store they come in all different colors so you can match your felt then space them around the rug or hide about every foot or so they work great go all the way around not just the top or it will sag a little

I pull them tight over a 1/4 in. of plywood then staple them, you can hang them any way you want to the wall.

Use Masonite sheeting. It's about 3/16 of an inch thick. Trace it out about and inch or two inside the edge of the rug. Glue the rug down to it and you can hang it upside down on the ceiling if you would like. Holds the rug down tight perfectly.
