NYCOYOTE what are the dogs you are using? Do you run coyotes year around or just when there is snow?

I run foxhounds. We can run from July 1-April 15. We can only kill coyotes from Oct. 1-end of March. I run my dogs from July until Sept. when deer season starts on fox and coyotes. I then start back up again in mid Dec.

NYCOYOTE thats pretty good being able to hunt them 9 months out of the year. Do you catch very many when there is no snow? I'm just askin because down here in Tx. I hunted for years with my Dads Julys and Walkers and we would catch maybe 1 out of 10 that we ran. You can't run wolfhounds on the outside here anymore because of deer hunters and leased up land.

We only get a bayup when the snow is deep or its been a long run. I would say for every 20 runs, we will get 1 bay up.
