i run hog dogs all my dogs r worth something to me so all my dogs run in cut vest do any bear or cat hunter put cut vest on any of ur dogs

BAYHARD 1 : I have yet to see any hound bear hunters put vests on their dogs ,up here in maine . Yet I have seen several Hounds that could have been saved or their injuries reduced if they had been wearing them . I would also tend to think that most bear chases are longer than Hog chases.

yea bob i do say that bear dogs run longer but they make lite bay vest that would cut down on ripes from a bear

Up here in WI most people I know don't run vests, I have gave it consideration, but with the swamps and the humidity in the summer with the chance's of the dog overheating I don't. For hogs I would, but bear I wouldn't.

I had studied about vest for a few of my aggressive dogs but here in the thick briars and clear cut i think they would get hung up :beer

i hunt in sum thick stuff u mite try would cut down on cuts
