Hey Corbin ~ I'm kind of the one out of the norm here when it comes to feeding hounds.
Currently I'm feeding Purina Pro Plan - Performance Formula.
It's a 30/20 blend
REAL Chicken & rice
Except for what I have to spend for it, I'm totally satisfied!
Take it easy!

It was mine too until it went up to 20 dollars a bag. I can get 50 pound black gold for 22.50 with out having to drive 3 1/2 hours for it. So thats what I feed now.

Heck... Black Gold is $25.99 where I am at.. Kirkland is the cheapest I can buy around here.. Except Diamond, and my dogs won't eat it...

I usually feed Iams with leftover scraps and powederd milk. They're spoiled I guess. They're currently working on venison scraps from butchering.

I feed a combo of Kirkland adult and puppy as well as combo of puppy and dog chow. This combo works great for me and the dogs love it.

We feed Nature's Best by Hill's, mind you I am a vet tech and get it at cost! I also get feed cooked ground meat as well. Our plott doesn't do well with any corn in her food, trust me a ton of food has it as a filler.

Hummm.... I pay anywhere from $50 to $73 a bag. Orijen, TimberWolf, Eukanuba, FirstMate are some of the brands I feed.
I stay clear of anything made by Menu Foods...... as per the pet food recall incident and the resulting pet deaths due to contaminated ingredients [ wheat ] used by Menu Foods.
There was a special on TV, 20/20 or something similar investigating the unregulated pet food industry. Very interesting. It seems that the quality of the ingredients used in the food IS NOT what is indicated on the bag, or as per the manufacture's advertizing. In fact, the investigator made his "own batch" of dog food, consisting of old work boots [ protein], wood shavings [ fiber ], and motor oil [ fat ], and had it analylized in a lab that tests pet foods. Low and behold, his batch of boiled up food passed the pet food industry standards for protein, fat and fiber percentages. Pretty sad.......
