i have never personally owned one but a friend of mine had one and well he wasn't much of a dog period unless it was a caged coon and when you walked it close to a bear scent of any kind it wet itself and beat every body back to the truck. thats only one dog out of him but thats my experience. maybe some other guys know something.

I have one off Trackman but I just coon and bobcat hunt him he does really well on them. I have a couple off Cold Sweat who is off Trackman that I bear hunt and they did really well last year for being 14 months and 7 months big mouths, good tree dogs, and FAST.

I bought 2 differen't females that were direct granddaughters of Trackman last year. Differen't crosses. One was a dud from the start. The other one I have just turned 2 years old and is doing really good. Extremely fast, turning into an outstanding strike dog. However, she was surprisingly slow to come on the treeing. She's getting there though and she barks a little too much on a medium track for my liking. But overall not bad. I bobcat and grey fox hunt only, no bears or coon.
