dog has diareah

my male hound has had diareah for a month.change dog food didnt help.any ideas

A month? Did you give him antibiotics? If so then take that poor dude to the vet. And I'm a vet avoider.

Maybe try this, one lb boiled hamburger, one pack of boiled rice, and a container of uncultured yougert, mix it together and feed it a couple of days, sometimes the enzimes become unbalanced in the digestive system. This is the same thing a vet would tell you to try without a bunch of tests.

Sometimes worms will cause diahrea and you won't even see signs of them in the feces.

thanks guys.i would have brang him to the vet but he acts fine has not losted any weight

take a stool sample to vet at least, If he's not loosing weight think of the dogfood you could be saving.

give him sulmet or albon for aweek
