south of I-90 it was already legal to shoot wolves harassing livestock. last time I checked the FWP works both sides of I-90

well its nice to know he is thinking about wolves, but i feel it for the most part he is thinking politics, and votes. This does not change a whole lot. You have to be a rancher, or farmer having livestock being in danger, or a fwp officer to be able to kill them. I m thinking that is kind of what the deal was before. I will believe it when i see it. I would not give to much thought to what he said. He is one to talk big now and then. For now I think we all have to ask what our part in all of this is, and do what we think to be right. S.S.S? maybe, to each his own.

But there is a thing in there that could benifit anyone. He says anyways that he ordered the fish cops not to even investigate a wolf killing if someone claims that the wolf was bothering livestock. so just make sure there is livestock in the area and happy hunting.

from what i read in the paper today, looks as if i was right. He is just blowing smoke up your, for B.S reasons. He is back paddling already on some of his words. Thats weird he never does that. I would say if you go and shoot a wolf, you better be able to prove it harrased cattle or sheep because if you cant your in for a bad deal. I would say it has not changed a thing.
