feeding coon

is it ok too feed a hound a coon after it has killed it i mean when you get home and maybe cook it or any way actually?? is it healthy for them cause it seems like the feed bill gets kinda high!

cook them..
if you feed it raw then you are setting yourself up for lots of worms.
most have tapeworms,round worms and hookworms.
I have fed lots of cooked coon and see nothing adverse to that-- the wife does not see much humor when cooking the whole carcass.. the fat sure has its own odor when cooked.
we have ate it ourselves.. just have to get all the fat cut off!
way back in the early 60's my old hound got lots of rabbits... and had lots of tapeworms!
that ol bugger never once ran a rabbit!
