Just thought i would share that west coast telemetry is having a sale on all of their collars. $99 dollars for 16000Hr or 8000Hr tracking collars and they have a "new to me" thing called a tag along which is an 8000Hr tracking part of a tracking collar that you can put on your shock collar or they have one to put on a garmin collar, that way you don't have to put 3 different collars on a dog. When i talked to him he said the sale will probably only last for a few weeks to maybe a month from today.

Forgot about them tag alongs, and needed to call them about them. Maybe not needed if they made some changes to them. I installed a few on garmin collars for a customer. I had to pull out my grinder and modify them to work properly. They created a nasty angle in the collar. The one end of the tag along that caused this also had some nasty points on them that would have rubbed into the dogs neck badly. After grinding I was able to get them to set much more flat, and natural on the collar. A real pain in the butt!!!

I was looking at those "tag alongs" when I was at WCTS last time. They seemed like a pretty good way to go. I know Gary has been working with them to make them a great back up for the Garmins. I will be getting a handful of them this summer to put them on with my shock collars.

I am sure Gary would love to have input from guys that are using them. Give him a call if you have questions. WCTS (253)536-1351
