When it was legal to hunt lions with dogs in Oregon, im curious as to how many there were and where the biggest population was...coast, central or eastern? Just curious. I missed out on the glory days of hound hunting so all i have is stories from my uncle and grandpa

The estimated population before measure 18 for couger was around 2500 to 3000 state wide, with the largest numbers being in the northeast in The Wallows and in the south in Jackson and Josiphin Co. Mike
