Long walk, short race

With a fresh 4" of snow and no tracks to be found, a land owners kid and I started walking out the rugged rock bluffs we have, hoping to cut a track. 2 hrs. into our little hike, we cut a half snowed in set and turned a few hounds loose. In a matter of minutes they were jumped and 20 min. after that had it bayed in a shallow cave. Smokey colored female.
