anyone raise coons?

hey wondering if anyone raises coons in washington for the purpose of training, or if you even allowed to. because i am in need of a coon to work on treeing with my pup. because i didnt get to hunt him as much as i have wanted to this year and now the season is over with so i can go anymore. so just wondering if any of you guys raise them or have one. i could barrow or buy. also if i could get some clarification on if this is even allowed because i have ever herd that it isnt just want to mke sure

its not legal to have wild or exotic animals in the state of washington.

Nope it's against the law to have a live coon as a pet (or training) in the state of Washington but as long as no one knows I guess it might be alright

Keep in mind if you are caught using a coon for training purposes you'll be charged with a gross misdeameaner $500 fine for each coon and most likely 2 years prohbation...I know this first hand from a few years ago. :(

You can buy a bobcat from back east as long as you have the permits. At least that's what they used to do in Washington.

you can't bring bobcats into washington. if you had them befor last year they can stay but you cant buy now, I have one but when she is gone I can't get another
