was just looking for input on my business logo for my coats. I have used a picture of my dog in my stickers, and hats but was looking to change. This is from a picture of a lion i caught this winter, that the embroidery place turned into art. Please let me know your thoughts. I am looking for input before i spend $2500 on coats. thanks

i agree it looks like a sad attempt at a cartoon character. I restarted my guide business, and also starting a taxidermy shop. They tried to tell me that it would look like that no matter what animal i used because it has to be done with thread. I dont like it but others arround here do. i think i am going to stick with the dog.

don't believe them on the quality. color and talent do amazing things to embroidery. yes there are a good number that can use a computer to get it close but it's like leather or any other art, talent is the main ingredient. the colors are off and the detail of the cat is a bit lacking but if they really wanted to improve it, it wouldn't be much of a effort for them. is that the only place around you?

To get detail in embroidery, you have to use thousands of stiches when it is digitized. It takes a lot longer to do and of course time is money. So you just need to find someone that is willing to take the time to digitize it correctly and you'll end up with a better end result.

Art work can be done in many different ways. Instead using many colors and details, try black and white. Black shadows of lion and tree outlines on white background. With art you have to let your imagination go wild.
