Tread Mills

Does anyone run their hounds on a dog treadmill. My father in law a big pitbull guy and all them Pit people run them dogs on a mill. He gonna give me one for my hounds, with fuel at the price it is, i'm thinking it's cheaper to load em up on the mill rather then throw em in the truck and road em spending 10 bucks a day!!!
